i won\'t be at any northeast breakfast shows (as of now) because [-]i attend college[/-] because I am scared to face the 200 long time fans I took a shit on. I\'m just going to drive out to oberlin and hang with my fellow newbs instead.

fixed ;)

I thought the final say on where the band plays on halloween is "The Band".  I can see where you\'re upset that they\'re not playing local on that date, but then take it up with the band or management; they\'re the ones that made the decision.

Kraak and Smaak full band US Tour - Nov. 2008
« Reply #33 on: August 31, 2008, 10:04:45 pm »
I wanna take this opportunity to pimp a Dutch band that rarely makes appearances in the U.S. (well, they book DJ sets in SF every couple months but full band shows are rare)  I first saw Kraak and Smaak in early 2007 and they put on one of the best live shows I\'ve seen.  They can probably be best described as NuFunk - a super funky, danceable, electronically-influenced, high-energy crew.  There\'s no way I\'d miss them and I highly recommend them to anyone on the periphery of any of the cities they are visiting in November.

Here is what they have booked thus far:

Nov 7 2008 LIVE SET: Baltimore, Sonar
Nov 8 2008 LIVE SET: New York, Mercury Lounge
Nov 11 2008 LIVE SET: Austin, The Parish Room
Nov 13 2008 LIVE SET: Madison, Magistic Theatre
Nov 14 2008 LIVE SET: Chicago, Subterranean
Nov 17 2008 LIVE SET: Boulder, Fox Theatre
Nov 18 2008 LIVE SET: Denver, Bluebird Theatre
Nov 20 2008 LIVE SET: San Diego, The Loft
Nov 21 2008 LIVE SET: Los Angeles, Henry Fonda Theatre
Nov 22 2008 LIVE SET: San Francisco, The Independent

I\'ll be sure to bump this as November closes in on us.

Well I\'ve got a string of Breakfast shows next week, some local Groundation shows, Kraak and Smaak (the show I\'m most excited for and I urge people to see them).....probably a whole lot of other shows that haven\'t yet been determined.
