dammit! i just realized that that\'s out final shenendoah river blowout. my friends are moving from their stunning locale down to sc, and this is gonna be the last rager on the river. so, i\'ve changed my mind. if there\'s no gig on saturday, or if it falls through or something, band and crew are invited to tube the river during the day and chow down on some gourmet bbq saturday night!

YES!! bring it on!! we tube down the river til we get to their place, so its completely low maintainence (no having to go get cars til the next morning), everyone always brings out the good food and beverages, we get an easy-up village going, tents all around, fire pit, moonshine, the works! consider yourselves invited!

we\'re doing great, so far! :lol:

we\'re actually spending tomorrow going around and looking at potential wedding sites. i had no idea just how much stuff is involved in this whole deal, but so be it. as long as i don\'t have to spend hours picking out flowers and chairs, i\'ll get through just fine. and for jill, well, this is like playtime, so she\'s lovin\' it!

If you dont have an opinion about a certain type of invitation or center piece or whatever, DO NOT say "I dont care"....Jill is about as heady as they get so I am sure she wont bust your balls too much, but I have heard/seen some doozie prewedding stories in my time....

well, we considered eloping, but jill wants the big, dream wedding, and who am i to say no? if y\'all had seen the look on her face when we pulled up to the first place on saturday morning, y\'all would\'ve caved, too, it was so sweet!!

and steve, yeah, i\'ve been given two ser pieces of advice, yours being the most oft repeated. they way it sunk in to my brain was "you don\'t care = you don\'t love her = her mom was right = goodbye happiness!" the other piece of advice i can\'t disclose in a venue that she may peruse, but it also has to do with preserving my lifelong happiness.... :lol:
