yes, lets.

I am happy to see the return of the gridiron. I just like football in general and seeing it on TV brings tears to my eyes. There is nothing like watching pamper millionaires on a football field.

Do you mean \'06-\'07, or is this a flashback thread of \'05-\'06?

Yes, this is indeed the 2005-06 NFL thread. Let\'s see. I pick Steelers over the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. Something like 21-10.

In other words, I goofed. But I did change it. Good looks, Z.

well, it is some what related to the NFL.

How do you feel about Maurice Clarrett? I personally never liked the guy. I hated him even more when he beat Miami a few years ago in the National Championship. I just find it sad that he has turned into his current self. The kid had talent, there is no denying that, but his ego and out look on life sucks. I\'m glad he is not in the NFL.

I\'d like to see the Bears do something this year. But, football has not been a "team" sport for me for a few years, though my bias while living in New Bedford was with New England, I have always watched players. Should be interesting to see what Reggie Bush can do this year.

Yeah I\'m excited to see our boy Reggie Bush play this year as well especially since Brees at QB could be a good season for the Saints or at the least a good future.  As far as Clarett goes, it really is too bad what has happened to him since all he had to do was stay in school one more year and perhaps could have avoided all his troubles.  Shame on the NFL for denying him entree after his freshman year.

In a similar vein, Mike Williams looks real good the other night against the Browns. Hopefully he will make the team this year.  I am definitely opitimistic for the season in terms of my favorite team (Lions). They finally have a somewaht established starting QB- no matter if it is Jon Kinta.  We need to get a running game going this year and we should win at least 8 or 9 games, which may be eventhough to take the division.  Only team I am worried about at the Bears because they seem to surprise me every year, especially when so-called experts always count them out. But this year everyone thinks they will easily win the division so I think they will put a little to much pressure on their offense to perform no matter how great their defense is. Fuck Da Bears

Can\'t wait for tomorrow and the release of the new Madden. Read up a little on it and it looks they have added some new features to the running.

Oh and does anyone want to join the .INFO Breakfast Fantasy Football, if I get alot of responses I will create one in yahoo or ESPN, whichever you guys want.  Just need to find a convenent time for our live draft.  Holla back in this thread.
