So Tuesday is SF... does this mean Wed. or Thursday will be Santa Barbara or Santa Cruz?  Also it looks like the Breakfast has some competitition - Iron Maiden plays in Irvine CA. on 10/21, the same night as the Winston\'s show.  If I\'m in LA that weekend, it\'s gonna be a tough call to pass up Iron Maiden to go down to SD and see the Breakfast.

I\'d personally like to see another date in S.F./Berkeley/Oakland/Mill Valley on the Wednesday, then see them booked to Santa Cruz for Thursday, but that is because I live nearby.

I\'d also like to see a booking at the Crystal Bay Casino on Sunday or Monday.

They should definitely play somewhere on Wed/ Thurs.  Maybe it\'s best to just focus on the bay area.  But I\'m calling a travel agent right now to arrange travel to LA for the entire week of the Breakfast\'s SoCal run so I\'m kinda hoping for Santa Barbara on Thursday.  As for Wed., Berkley or Santa Cruz makes the most sense.

Of all the central coast towns, Santa Barbara seems the most probable location for Thursday night, unless they try to double up on the L.A. area.

Yeah I have been contemplating going to the L.A. show and blowing off the S.D. show for Iron Fuckin\' Maiden.
If you decide to do the same let me know.

It\'s tempting... especially if Bruce Dickenson is there with all the original members.  This may be our last chance to see Iron Maiden, and there will always be chances to see the Breakfast.  If the Breakfast gets a Santa Barbara gig on Thursday 10/19, then I prob. will see Iron Maiden because I\'ll be able to see the Breakfast the previous 2 nights.  Like I said it\'s a tough call.

Not necessarily true. Don\'t take \'em for granted; as much as I would like to think they will be around forever, there is always the chance that they won\'t.

Oh Bruce is def. there. However it will def. NOT be the last time you will have a chance to see Maiden.

The tour after this one(which is supporting A Matter of Life and Death) will be in support of the next installment of the History DVD\'s. They will be dragging the Powerslave stage set out, touching it up and bringing it out on tour!!

Well in that case I might lean more towards just seeing the Breakfast, mostly because I prefer smaller venues.  At small venues you can go in and out, smoke, drink, etc.  Iron Maiden is awesome but ampitheatres kinda suck regardless who\'s playing.    But my flight is confirmed- I\'ll be in LA from 10/18-10/22 so I\'m def. seeing something.  Hopefully there will be a Santa Barbara show on 10/18 or 10/19 so if anyone hears anything about that let me know.

Vic,  are there any anticipated shows that may fill the gap between S.F. and L.A.?  If not, I can think of a place they could play on Wednesday, given no other ambitions for the night.

They should try to play at Jupiter in Berkeley on Wednesday (the place I took you and Chris to, where you drink beer outside by the stage).  Not sure what type of money they pay bands, but it would certainly be better than not playing at all on that evening.

There is a gaping hole in their schedule in between the Tuesday in SF and Friday in LA.  It would be crazy not to schedule a Santa Cruz or Santa Barbara gig.  I even checked the website for Soho, the best venue in Santa Barbara, and they are wide open on Thursday Oct. 19th.  Buquebus says there is no gap to be filled between SF and LA, and I don\'t really understand that statement, unless the band needs a rest during those days.  And as for the gigs on the way back, clearly Atlanta, Athens, GA, or Asheville NC are the logical choices.

I\'ve actually been to Jupiter in Berkley, and it is a very small venue with basically no dance floor room around the stage, but it is a very nice venue - and a smaller venue might be ideal for a wed. night gig.  I agree that that wed/ thursday needs to be filled and if there is no better option you might as well play Berkley.  But also keep in mind I know a ton of people who live in Santa Barbara, and if they schedule a gig there I can bring a sizable crew to the show.
