Nice bump of a key thread Pitchie.  Can\'t report any changes for myself.  Of course there are 25 albums that aren\'t in there that might have been had I written the list 10 minutes earlier or ten minutes later than I did.  But I\'m happy with my selections.

Keep posting people!  I\'ve decided that I\'m going to buy 10 albums from this thread.  Just gonna scan through the thread again and see what sounds interesting.  Thanks everyone.

I\'m a bit nervous now. Hype grows. Expectations are high. I feel the light of interrogation shed upon me.

I bought a copy of II a few years ago and was delightfully surprised at my ability to hit every single note on the album still. Well, I\'d sharpen or flatten at least a few, but I knew exactly where every run was going. I can even recite the French woman\'s intro before "All Around The World".

Jezzebel = HUGE sleeper still waiting to be discovered.

Lexington-- with II and Hebron Gate on your list, we\'d get along alright.

I was cleaning out my music collection and found 2 items that would have been in my top ten ten years ago.

ec8r - Give me nyquil all night long
atari teenage riot - delete yourself.

I will gladly give them away as they are hard to find to anyone who wants them.

Dave-- have you belted out "blaaaaack beauty" at the 5:05 mark of Mojo Pin yet?

It feels good.

I thought I had posted here a while ago, but i guess not so here goes.

1.) Blows Against the Empire - Jefferson Starship

Excellent choice. Blows is still one hell of an album, and not nearly as well known as it should be. Personally, every time I go outside on a really crisp, clear night, I always hear that piano and then the line, "Have you seen the stars tonite?" (usually cos I just sing it!). The whole album is brilliant, especially the suite. I count myself extremely lucky to have seen PK and Co perform some fantastic versions of that and was there in London when they performed the album in its entirity for the first time in 2006.

(Drop me a pm if you want a SBD recording of that London show - there will also be a video when I get round to editing it)
