Never said they were not The Breakfast but they are a Trio right now and if they do decide to go at it as just a Trio and do not bring on a key player, you are right I will jump ship.

and no matter what anyone says to me, I feel the less time his fingers have to play guitar strings, the more the band suffers. Plus the vocal element in my mind suffers way to much as a Trio. I will still be interested in the band but to me as a 3 piece they are not the saviors of Rock and Roll they were.

Leith i think your ignorant, first off how can you post such claims without even hearing what they have to offer and secondly your a bag of douche for dismissing these guys abilities to carry on without Jordan. ya, I\'m gonna miss Jordan\'s soulful beltings but this isn\'t a blues quartet it\'s a freak\'n ROCK band. From what i witnessed at the Corner Pocket (being there first show) and confirmed by 10K Lakes these guys WILL make it bigger and better and you can go tread water with the rest of the rats.

The Breakfast have decided to tour as a trio this CHANGES the dynamics of the band and I have decided to be less interested for the reasons I listed proof of your ignorance.

You accuse me of dismissing their abilities you are even more of an ass than I thought. If you take a gander @ my posts about Jordan\'s departure you will see I have posted I believe they can make it as a trio and their ability to do so has already been proven w/ GTB plus 1 Dave Peckand Tomatotron never toured outside the New Haven area so how can you judge potential on such a small sampling and the missing element of the keys AND to think different is silly.
Though I believe that, it does not mean I will still like what they put out musically proof of ignorance because you don\'t even know what they will sound like as much as I did and that\'s my choice you fuck!and your choice is based on close minded ignorance not facts

I will always support Tim, Adrian and Ron in whatever they do as I will support any Jordan efforts that I am near enough to. I just am not as into a trio as I am a quartet. No matter how much Tim shreds the keys it still takes away from him playing guitar and that I am just not down with. I fell in love w/ a four piece band and not a trio.

the \'new\' breakfast \'trio\' is a far cry from a novelty act.  if anything, the streamlined version of the band is even more intense and more rocking than any former set up.  you better start taking them seriously, or else you\'re gonna miss out on something huge.

that being said, i don\'t know about any tryouts or whatever, but whoever does go for the 4th spot is gonna have to be better than jordan to make the grade.  the breakfast can and will kickass as a \'trio\' and do not need a 4th person to maintain the badass sound that the breakfast has come to be.

i havent heard it yet but I find it hard to believe that they will last if they dont find a keyboarder. it may be more rocking and raging and streamlined at first but in the long run it will not be as good or full or complete or balanced. Chances of blowing up as a trio are slim especially if they try to do cheesey shit like make up for the keyboards with guitar loops and tim playing synth.

actually i think it was me who started the name calling and i apologize to everyone who read that and especially to Leith, we aren\'t kids on a playground. BUTTTT for the limited time i have been part of this family i have grown an appreciation for everyone involved and will continue to defend everything Breakfast. And for a "fan" to come on here and say they will jump ship because one member decided to do something different and the band has to conform is blasphemous in my eyes, especially considering that person hasn\'t even heard what they have to offer. hey... if you give them and honest listen and say hey, these guys are good but it\'s not for me then jump but don\'t expect a life preserver or someone to jump in with you..... but i\'ll gladly give you a push......

anyone can think what they want, but until they stand in front of the stage for a couple hours and watch it all go down, then i don\'t care what they think will come of it.  apparently its impossible to be a 3 piece and not a novelty act, i hope someone told that to medeski martin and wood, or cream, or the jimi hendrix experience.

the omission of jordan opens up a lot of space for the breakfast to grow.  there\'s no longer the sound of musicians playing on top of eachother, and it gives tim even more room to just go off and be himself w/ holding anything back, and as a ser breakfast fan, thats what brought me to this band in the first place.

Well I have decreased my posting since I first heard about the change in June. I will most likely only be an occasional poster as I do consider some of the folk on here friends and like to keep up on the crazee shennanigans they take part in.
As I have ALREADY posted I will continue to support the band but just because I am not as rabid about them as a trio I am ostersized? That I find ludicrous.

And yeah I may not have heard The Breakfast as a trio but I know enough about the way the 3 guys play to know I will not enjoy it as much. That\'s my deal not any one else\'s so let\'s leave it at that.
