a synth playing dj makes me cringe. fwiw....

Shudder at the thought. I really would be depressewd if they got a keyboard player with a "ame". Although it might catapult the band in "the scene", in the eyes of everyone who\'s never heard of The Breakfast, it would be "Let\'s go check out \'The Name\'...and those other guys". Keys weren\'t and should not be "the focus" of this band. I\'d like to see the trio progress for a bit and not rush into finding a replacement.

I was and will always be a fan of jordans music.
His ability to be in sync with tim\'s progressive style is amazing.
Many a mind blown...
with that said..
I can jam out on blues scales all day long on keys...heh
hope they find some talent for sure...

My second choice is "Explosive" Joseph Wooten.  Yes, that\'s one of Victor\'s brothers.  Who has seen the Victor Wooten tours with his 2 brothers?  Explosive Joseph is every bit the keys player that Vic is a bass player, and Joseph can really, really sing too.  He\'s got mad soul but also has a rock edge in his voice that would translate well to songs like Drunk Monk Bar and Doors covers.  He would bring a huge new element of soul to the band along with some bangin keys.  I don\'t think he has any regular gig.

Yeah that\'s not gonna happen. Friday, I mentioned to him jokingly that a jamband out East could use his skills and he smiled kindly, looking over @ the rest of the Steve Miller Band during soundcheck.
