jking, great story!!
:that:
as for me, i was a hardcore phish fan. i had moved back home to ct due to some financial issues in january 01, soon after the hiatus began. i didn\'t know anyone in the area anymore, and was searching for new bands to get into and shows in the area so i could meet folks. so periodically i\'d get on jambase to see what was going on around town. i saw psychedelic breakfast listed on there probably more than any other band. unfortunately i hesitated, due to a buddy of mine who doesn\'t like them telling me they weren\'t very good (damn you!). anyway, finally one night there was nothing to do and pb was playing at the colorado brewery in danbury (which i loved). so i figured, what the hell, i\'ll go check them out. there was NOBODY there, maybe 5-10 people who weren\'t there for the band, just for dinner/drinks. anyway, they opened with take 5, and i was immediately transfixed, by timmy especially. by the end of the show, i was completely hooked and my mind was blown. and i kept coming back for more.
