Quote from: Jake Krolick
3:20 p.m. - At this point, The Turkey B Mafia and I were booted from the green room for passing the peace pipe a little too heavily. Tim Palmieri from the Breakfast joined me for a few minutes before he was off to watch Stanton Moore.

TIM PALMIERE OF THE BREAKFAST

Q: What do you think makes a festival a success?
A: A good name, a good location, good organization, and the right bands. Weather permits, but people can have fun in the rain so it doesn\'t matter as much.

Q: Is there a favorite personal experience you can share from attending festivals?

A: MMW at High Sierra, the first Bonnaroo - Bucket of Bernie Brains was really cool or watching Norah Jones with only 300 people there was cool too. Anything Zappa-related that I\'ve attended has also been super cool.

Q: Do you feel that sound vibration and resonance in music help human evolution?

A: Yes we are definitely sensitive beings, sensitive to all different stimuli whether it is visual or audio. Certain music has been studied, like classical, that helps people think better. So yes, I think it\'s possible that sound can bring us to the next step.

Q: Favorite summer-time treat?

A: Libby\'s in CT makes a killer Italian ice.

excellent question.  all of existence is just quantum vibrations that are brought into physical manifestation through observation.

Nor do I, really.  But they only published four questions and THAT made the cut.

Note that this is after he was "booted from the green room for passing the peace pipe a little too heavily".  It\'s comments like this that make us (and the band) look like "hippies".  And not one of us (at least that I know personally) is overwhelmingly a "hippie".

well considering the Wu-Li idea has to do with the evolution and etc its not really a far out question.

And whats wrong with a hippie mentality. tread lightly, only leave foot prints, be kind to others, be kind to the environment etc etc.

nothing wrong with hippies and in fact i would rather have a hippie neighbor than say a young facist or some bible thumper. But of course this is coming from a long hair

Nothing wrong with the hippie mentality... but the mainstream picture of what a "hippie" is (be it correct or not) is NOT an accurate picture of the BFam.

So would I... unless that neighbor happened to be the Hotel TKA.  Some people need to sleep at night without those damn hippie parties going on next door!

Anywho, I didn\'t mean to step on toes with that "scenester" comment (a few posts up), it just struck me as a "look how headie I am" question.

i would consider myself as a new age hippie. I\'m a nature lover, I\'d like to think I\'m somewhat environmentally conscious and responsible, and i try to think beyond my immediate surroundings. maybe hippie isn\'t the right word but environmentalist sounds to....... organized like a terrorist sect or something. Hippie, Treehugger.... whatever, those are outdated terms that are lost with our parents who actually had the balls to unit and stand up for a bigger cause not just the environment. the majority of the people today are robots.... mechanical when it comes to there day to day.
