Princess...
The band has been very professional about this. In fact, if you care to notice, the is NO official comment on this. Only some heresay.
An official comment would be from the band, Alex DeFelice, and myself. An official comment will be made on Monday, as was planned.
My unofficial comments: We would have preferred to have Jordan play until the end of the summer as was planned. But his family and day job committments have made it increasingly difficult to know WHAT shows he would play, when we could leave for gigs. This situation has persisted since the last national tour, when everyone wanted to know why the band drove home, at great expense from Arizona instead of playing gigs. But the number of gigs Jordan couldn\'t or wouldn\'t do has grown to a point where it made no sense for the band to lead a double life. BTW we have been conducting a national search for a replacement. Unless the response to the trio gigs is overwhelming, we will find a great replacement. Bands like Moe are helping in the search.
But we all understand that that if at this point in time this is what Jordan wants for his life, it is in fact his life. We personally support his personal decisions, and I for one have plans to include him in a very high profile project that will not require so much touring.
Jordan has already played his parts on the cd, so that isn\'t an issue.
I certainly understand that all of you will feel a sense of loss, but I should also point out to you that those of us who are continuing have been dealing with a tough situation for quite a while, so there is great aanticipation for what will develope in the future.
