Ticketmaster..................................
Bruce tickets went on sale at 9:00AM EST on 2.2.09. I logged on and put in my request for two tickets. I was put in line and told that there was roughly a 15 minute waiting period. After about 25 minutes a screen popped up claiming an error due to "routine maintenance". The funny thing is that on the right side of the screen tickets were available for purchase from Tickets Now (owned by Ticketmaster) for several hundred dollars more than face value. I tried again and again for most of the day and received the same error. Around 4:00, I finally got through and there were no tickets available, but if I wanted to pay $300 a ticket, there was the ad for Tickets Now on the right side of the screen. If it was just me, I would leave it alone, but there were a lot of people that had the same issue and now Rep. Bill Pascrell is looking into the issue. Bruce has released an apology to fans. And it was just released that State Police arrested a scalper from North Arlington that had 30K of the missing tickets that weren\'t available. The article states "But inside Napalitano’s coat, police found a business card from Ticketmaster CEO Sean Moriarty. On the back of the card was a note, “Call me when you sell all of these. I may have some more.”
Screw ticketmaster...
