The tapes (if there are any) will be great and will make the show seem better than it was.

AFAIK, the show was not recorded..

FUCK!!!  Gabo didn\'t have any equipment??

oh and btw: what the fuck does AFAIK mean?

i needed my JB3 for pearl jam (which i didn\'t end up using). didn\'t matter though, because my UA5 came back from tour broken, and i haven\'t had time to open it up yet.

AFAIK = as far as i know..

i saw a set of mics set up or were those there for the opening bands

hopefully it was recorded and it surfaces.. if it was recorded, and no one knows who the taper was, and the taper keeps the recording to himself, that doesn\'t do anyone any good. ;)

There were definitely 2 video cameras rolling.  Maybe they will have crappy video-camera sound.

maybe it was a number of factors: mother\'s day, pearl jam, disco biscuits in albany.

I believe Dark Star was ony a couple blocks away too.....

thanks, not much to work with that night. although the constant front lighting was a little more predictable to shoot in.

I wasn\'t at this show but my boy who doesn\'t post at this forum wrote to me:

"i went to see the breakfast on saturday in the NYC. The show blew me away. I have a new found respect for them. It was just simply amazing."

Looks like they got another fan :)

I didn\'t read all the comments about the show but if anyone there didn\'t drink then they were in for a shock when they, like me, ordered 2 goddamn cokes and the bartender goes, "ok, 2 cokes that\'s $10," a fuckin\' 16 oz., 3/4 ice filled, plastic cup of coke cost $5, I didn\'t dare get an actual drink or beer out of fear that I wouldn\'t have enough on me to cover it.  Also, before we went in the guy at the velvet ropes told a kid if he touched the ropes again, he was gone, though he wasn\'t staying, and he only touched the ropes twice, I don\'t think it was an offense serious enough to get one "bounced."  buttholes.

^^that\'s the main reason we didn\'t come up!! holly offered a ride, a buddy offered a place to crash, but we knew we couldn\'t afford anything else, either, so why bother? which killed us, as we are both still frothing for a full on breakfast onslaught, but i\'d heard the coda was a pricey, pricey place...

The "No recording" was pretty much my fault.

I ddin\'t have my recording EQ so peck was kind enough to offer to have the band bring his rig etc for me to run. We had made all the arrangements prior to the show so it would get recorded. Unfortunately the Gods seemed hell beant on making sure I didn\'t get to go. Saturday My car decided it didn\'t want to behave. So I tried to get someone to cover the show but in the last minute it didnt happen.

so $780.00 later my car is fixed. My wallet is still recovering.

Sorry folks. I wanted to be there.

I will be at Wu-Li and Strangecreek so we have those covered.

Yup, the no-recording gods only half shit on me. Had my video camera set up by the soundboard. Thought I hit play at the beginning of set 1. Went to check on it/ change tapes 50 minutes later and saw it was on standby. I have a lot of Doughboy, all of set 2 and the first minute of Honey Butter. Sound is very good for a video camera. I recorded in 16-bit digital mode. Thank you to whomever, probably Dobson, that started the camera at the beginning of set 2. Glad it got recorded, because I wasn\'t there for it!!!
