that looks fucking crazy!!! wow, there\'s ways to open a show and then there\'s that.

ummm, whats with the short 2nd set though?? something mustve taken an extraordinary turn and escaped into a 15-20 jam, because quick math in my head shows only about 40 minutes.. then again the 1st set couldve been 100 or so..???

but fuck, thats possibly the best beginning to a show ive seen. wow.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

they definitely look like they were stuck in a 1st set groove and played too much, too long. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Take out the "Tricky Ways"???  Are you fucking CRAZY?  That is one of the most mature interesting originals they have written in the past 3 years.

Todd is right take out the NGNL, Tricky ways is awesome!

set 1 was my creation and was supposed to look like this:

I: Episode 1 (Happy) > Doughboy > Episode 1 (Happy) > jam > Attraction To Shade Ditty > Mooboo\'s Voodoo (Episode 2) > Good Things > Mooboo\'s Voodoo (Episode 2) > Slow Merge > Episode 3 (Awakingings) > Tricky Ways > Episode 3 (Awakingings)

However there was bad feedback coming from the guitar amp right during the Good Things > Ep 2.......It ruined the mood and Adrian negged the rest of the set....Just so you know it was the guitar cable that fucked up the song...NOT me fucking the shit up.....however it did ruin the rest of the set for me and almost the night....but the boys comforted me and the second set was some of the most amazing music played all tour.......

The webcast was negged due to server issues, but there was a video taper there with four cameras set up.....It should be sweet....

hey if it makes you feel any better Ryan Montbleau band everytime I see them they have a buzz in the PA due to a bad cable IMHO, At Blues Traveler @ Toads Guitar was causing feedback / Buzz in the PA as well. Seems to unfortuanately be a major issue for alot of crews. Don\'t know if it is cheap cables, groundloops or what but an issue not strictly confined to the Breakfast.

So what was the solution to the issue ? did you swap out the cable or ....?

I was really upset at first....first off, because the transitions between Ep 2 and Good Things were so beautiful......secondly because I thought my worst fear had come true...that i fucked something up in the setup.....and since we had to setup and soundcheck and then strike Tim\'s gear for the opening band, I really thought it was my fault.....once I found out it wasn\'t I felt a little better, but it still sucked that it ruined the rest of the set.........

The problem was Tim\'s cable that ran from out of the Boomerang and into his amp.....Since I am still in Guitar Tech 101, Dobz troubleshot it and got it resolved as fast as possible.....

Ando was really nice to us......The Omahan\'s cooked us some ser burgers out back of the venue before the show and there was definitely a decient crowd getting down all night long.....

Esther......I did get to meet and chill with Kim in Minnesota as well as in Omaha....Bezerker, Johnny Upstate, and I ended up going back to her place after the show.....Not the latenight party I am used to, but it was a good time.......

thank you for concocting such an epic set, i just wish i couldve been there to enjoy. too bad tech difficulties were a bitch, but at least they raged out the beginning of the set (i\'m sure it was still the sickest first set ever)
