Not that I want to resign my lifetime membership in the hate-on Tea Leith Green club, though after listening a few times, I kind of like the tune.  Definitely has conviction.

I can\'t decide which is sillier: A jammy for The Breakfast for best "New" groove after 5.5 years and 650 shows, or a Jammy for Taught To Be Proud for best song.  If that\'s the best song written by a jamband in the last year, then I give up on jambands right here and now.

What\'s really a shame is that it\'s not a bad song.  It\'s fine.  But to build it up into something way bigger and better than it is will only let people down.  People will go listen to it now expecting some great or colossal tune, and when they hear it they\'ll say, "That\'s it?  That\'s all it is?"  This song is now in way over its head.  I hope it doesn\'t hurt TLG, cause a lot of people are gonna listen to this song now and be let down.

I gotta say I agree to a certain extent.
The album has a few songs that are quite better than TTBP.

You have no idea the silky flow that Ben C. has got.

all I see is words that have never been backed-up onstage

"Cuz we work hard and play harder than that
And we’re just stars and it’s a natural fact.
We attack the stage when we’re rippin’ a set,
Get about as nutty as a Vietnam vet"

Yeah brah, wearing paper-plate masks was real nutty back in pre-school.

Uh Plateface is not in the band and is like Wah a mascot(but w/ an actual reason to be there, road manager or something)

Well seeing as they are able to sell out The Fillmore Aud. I\'d say they were somewhat stars.

Yeah that\'s not sweat dripping of the guys after EVERY show!
hater :sigh:

i thought it isn\'t about the crowd but the music.
never trouble trouble till trouble troubles you

What are you talking about? Where is a crowd mentioned anywhere?

Oh selling out The Fillmore? Well to play music they need a place to play.

Yeah yeah. it\'s just I hate when people just jump in a thread to make a smart ass remark because they know others have and it\'s "cool".  I really would not mind if the remark made sense but......

Anyway thanx and glad to see ya finally made it out of Utica!
