Congratulations.
We ended up using a DJ for our reception. He did a good job and we were able to pick a "play" list and a "do not" play list. Just make sure they don\'t stick a tacky looking banner on the front of their table for advertising.

Remember if the parents aren\'t paying for something then they get no say in it. They are permitted to offer advice but only when asked.

Oh, and since none of the girls bothered to ask, "how did he propose and what does the ring look like?"

dont waste your time/money...

People listen up don\'t stand to near
I got something that you all should hear.
All lies, all the lies she told to me
make a little part of history.
I was always taught that boy meets girl,
fall in love get married and forget the world.
Nine months later, the sweet babys on the way.
Kiss \'em on the check and lifes ok.
I don\'t feel, no pain. I don\'t have, no time
to listen to conflicting points of view.
It\'s a crazy world to live alone,
a ball and chain I call my own

People listen up don\'t stand to close
I got something that you all should know
Holy Matrimony is not for me.
Rather die alone in misery.
I was always taught that boy meets girl,
fall in love get married and forget the world.
Nine months later, the sweet babys on the way.
Isn\'t that what they used to say?
With a girl that you knew,
and the bonds that we grew.
Turned into a ball and chain.
I step into the great unknown,
a ball and chain I call my own.
Crazy world to live alone

With a girl that you knew,
and the bonds that we grew,
turned into a ball and chain.
I step into the great unknown,
with a ball and chain I call my own.
Because marriage doesn\'t work in the world today
It\'s an institutionthat is in decay.
And if I have love I wish to portray,
I will surely find another way.

Because I was always taught boy meets girl,
fall in love get married and forget the world.
Nine months later the sweet babys on the way,
Kiss \'em on the check and lifes ok.
I don\'t feel no pain, I don\'t have no time
to listen to conflicting points of view
I step into the great unknown,
with a ball and chain I call my own
take the E to the A to the D...you\'ll be all set

We just bought a new house together......and we are working on it, so its completely empty.  He took me there, and when we walked in, he had flowers everywhere and candles lit everywhere (im surprised the place didnt catch on fire) and then he got down on one knee and did the whole bit.  It was sweet.  He\'s not a very romantic person, so that was a big step for him.

The ring is pretty.  White gold....with three diamonds in a row....the center one is a little larger.
