yeah about the floating log cabins, you have to reserve them in advance and they could possibly be booked, so go online and type cove campground in gore,va and there should be a website and all the info is there about the cabins. Im telling you this place is unbelievable, you wont want to leave when you see it.

This sounds like a sick festival - and Barefoot Manner is probably my 2nd favorite band behind the Breakfast right now.  So the Breakfast plays at 9:00 pm? that would be a good timeslot.  So do they play before or after moonshine still?  No offense to moonshine but it would be a joke if they had to play after the Breakfast.  Otherwise it looks like an awesome festival and I might just check it out!

This sounds like fun, we should get a crew together and rent a cabin or deuce.

I forgot to add to the info but there is also a camping charge per person of $24 person upon arrival from the campground. Trust me that is well worth it. 3000 acres, 3 spring filled lakes, you can rent boats, bring your own boat, they got showers, floating log cabins, regular log cabins, hiking trails, rock climbing, volleyball, and even better a beautiful scenery.......

you had me @ showers

barefoot manner is a perennial favorite down south. they\'ve been around for a while and have a pretty hardcore following in nc, sc, va, etc. but they don\'t seem to tour a whole lot. they are always a lot of fun, however. acoustic/electric mix of down hom styles of music. i\'ve warned my metal loving friend from nj that, other than the breakfast, this weekend may be pretty mellow for his tastes. he promised to wear his maiden t-shirts to keep the energy level up.

i\'d absolutely LOVE a Question Mark with Barefoot Manner. i think its a tune best suited to both bands!!

does anyone else have a ringing in their ears??? sort of an insistant voice calling to me. telling me to do something.... something about floating.....

Barefoot Manner is basically a jamgrass/ bluegrass band.  Super high energy, super tight.  Unbelievable dueling mandolin/ banjo, playing a million miles an hour while composing sick melodies.  Best bluegrass band I\'ve ever seen, even better than Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, Bela Fleck, better than any of that shit.  Hopefully the Breakfast gets to play a solid two hours or so.  I\'d hate to drive all the way up there and see them play 45 minutes.  But it may be worth it just for Barefoot.
