3-4-05:  Inspired, enlightened, surprised, excited, confused, evoked euphoria, focused, newfound faith in music.

Is technology great or what?
My weekend got an early start on Thursday w/ the audio webcast of TLG\'s Knitting Factory show.
Then yesterday I got The Breakfast audio/video webcast from Omaha.
Tonight I may just go see my friend\'s band Four of a Kind play Garcia/Grisman Bluegrass in San Clemente.
Sunday I work.

Seeing a band in Berkeley tonight.

Last night was very interesting and I\'m still trying to figure out what was going on.  Some friends and I went to see DJ Mark Farina play a ******** Jazz set (hip hop mixed w/ jazzy records) at a club in S.F.  It was one of the weirdest scenes ever.  The club itself had a large main room with two floors.  Along 3 sides of the walls of both floors was a 10 ft. deep continuous white bed w/large pillows for people to chill/make-out on, jump on, or whatever they wanted to do.  That was very weird.  Then the club had a whole cast of people dressed in wierd costumes/outfits to serve drinks in the club, break dance on the bar, roam through the club improvising strange acts on clubgoers etc.  It was like a halloween costume party or a scene out of Clockwork Orange.  The were so many shenanigans that my friends and I couldn\'t distinguish between the role players hired by the club and those who were just freaks acting out his/her own crazy ideas in the club.  Everything going down was a spectacle.  It also seemed like a lot of swinging was prevalent.  I\'d see a bunch of couples together, then a short time later, the guys/girls would be w/ completely different people from other groups.  There were scantily-clad foreign girls advancing on the guys.  This one Russian chick in leather was trying to climb on me while I was sitting on a bed at one point and lots of girls/guys would stop by and make weird sexual suggestions or give strange smiles.

Definitely a night so weird I can\'t even describe it completely.  Too bad there wasn\'t a webcam in there for all you to see.
