I think it\'s amazing they played "The Late and the Great" seeing that it was the 2nd time ever. Was last night an aniversary?

good lord! all these new tunes! bustin out some dust! this is fucking great. seems like an album should be on its way...

Psygn, Good Things, Honey Butter, Overexposure, Surreal Radio, Episode 3 in only 4 months.. thats a band hard at work.

and Gravity hasnt been played much lately, i like seeing it as somewhat of a rarity. special song right there.

everyone out West is in for an intense tour, no doubt about it.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

Overexposure was sooo good, a lot better than surreal radio IMO. Such an amazing show...good crowd. The late and the great was awesome…but overexposure…ser tune my friends. I finally got a love lake it was worth the wait. Everyone was getting down to it and it is in fact EPIC! I love honey butter. I feel dirty saying that, every time I hear that tune I like it more. D5 encore when I was not even expecting an encore at all...Wow.

SOOOOOOO wanted to go to this show!!!!! The vision of a 5+ hour drive in the snow was not appealing though!!!

there is a lot to be said about this show......first off New Hampshire + The Breakfast = a great scene.  The Stone Church is a sweet venue dispite the rediculously slow bartenders.

First set highlights include Lit, Fire and Late/Over......  Ellis owned the lights on Lit.....The Fire was tight and heavy.....And the long awaited Late/Over was a powerhouse.....Not quite powerful enough to own the numero uno highlight for me....Honey Butter......But the sheer power and feeling to Late/Over made me think, "wow.....these kids really have something to say other than singing songs about hair and dead comedians and such....."

The second set was the money set with amazing jams in all the big tunes.  The Great Big jam was epic but it was the Gravity Jam that stole the night as the band busted into some amazing music, shaking all of us throughout....

The big suprise was the amazing reception that Love Lake received.....It was an amazing version of the tune, it didnt just coast along...the band rode the shit out of it and it was amazingly executed.  Not in my top 10 tunes, i may have to reconsider my rankings after this one...

Surreal Radio was good to hear again, but was overshadowed by the Late/Over......  The new tunes are great and usher in a feeling of real excitement thinking that they are going to be taking these on the road and actually playing them.....From what I heard after the show last night, there may even be some more bust out brand spakning new tunes coming on this run.....keep your fingers crossed.......

Hush.....I think Pec said it best last night that, "when you hear Hush, you know something is going or just went down"....

By the end of the show everyone was wiped, but nobody moved.....We needed one more.....What came was, in my opinion, the best Breakfast encore I have heard since I can remember.....Dimension 5 was placed and played in the perfectlyt.....I couldnt think of a better way to ship this band out on the road.....

Thanks to the New Hampshire kidz for making last night such a heady affair....

Thanks to the band and family for making this ride (the past 6 or so years) the stuff that only dreams are made of.....

I am sure looking forward to a few weeks of rest and relaxation before we bust into spring.....

Safe Travels...
See you on the other side....
Gencs

PS....missed both you guys last night.....was thinking about you often though....you know its a good night when the jedi is standing in front of the stage for the better part of the night with a big ole shit eating grin smacked firmly on his grill

it had been played 4 times before last night:

2001-10-26
2001-11-02
2002-11-15
2002-11-16

it\'s been reworked a bit, and is now \'paired up\' with Overexposure (like a scarlet/fire, forbin\'s/mockingbird deal)...

Good to read from Gencs post there may be some bust outs on tour. It only makes sense to do so.
Introduce some tunes in front of fresh audiences and create a buzz for the home crowd for when they get back.
Looking forward to hearing new Breakfast and I like combo songs so Late>Over is a sweet addition to the setlist for me.
