No handbills...

Handbills with discs on the other hand :):):):):):):):):):):):)

That\'s my promotional strategy-of-choice for the S.F. shows.  I\'m probably going to be spending a big portion of my weekend deciding on the tracks for a sampler, then burning the entire 100-disk spindle I purchased.

In order to reach more potential fans, I\'m limiting the distribution to one cd per handbill.  I\'d love to give people complete shows and 3-disk Easter Eggs, though a compilation of good live tunes should do the trick.  I may even buy more disks once my first hundred are gone, though I\'m sure burning 100 disks will be a long process.

I\'m trying to strike a balance between funk, epic rock, etc.  I think I\'m going to outline my sampler by listing my favorite renditions of a bunch of tunes then selecting the best from there.

The key is to buy the cheapest generic crap out there. You\'ll get some coasters, but at the same time saving a tons of money.

if i get handed a free cd at a show, i\'m not really gonna put any effort into it.  if it ain\'t all on the disc or on a sleeve, then odds are i\'m not gonna find out.

not necessarily. i never pay more than 7.99 for a 100 spindle of good cd-rs.

If you are looking for dvd+rs check out ESA brand at circuit city. they arent that expensive when they are on sale.
