Didn\'t Cassidy do it a few times back in the day?

Anyways, I am searching for a couch via college friends who now live there, so I don\'t have to drive back to santa cruz.

Two breakfast shows after a week of boring interviews...pyched!

lol yeah.
Well I think there was mention of a latenite @ one of AlZ\'s friends in Ocean Beach SF so maybe there will be no need to drive back to Santa Cruz.
You headin\' south @ all or just the SF shows?

Just got off the phone w/ my roommate who is in the Denver area visiting family. I reminded him about the show tomorrow and he said he was unsure if they would be going as a huge Snowstorm is coming in. Hope the guys have a safe trip to Colo. and the snow is not deep enough to deter people from going to the show.

I was handing out Breakfast samplers last night at a show in Berkeley.

I asked a guy next to me at the bar if he would "be interested in a sampler of a great band playing in town in a few weeks".  He took one and mentioned that he may be playing with his band in Puerto Rico the weekend of the S.F. shows, though he was interested in Breakfast.  It turns out he was the bassist of the reggae band \'Groundation\', a band I have heard about through .info people and online at Jambase.  I told him that I really only knew of his band through people in the Breakfast community (specifically Gordo).  He then ran out to his car and gave me one of their cds.

thats pretty sweet zurflu.. which cd did he give you? ive been really curious to see what their live show is like, b/c they have some absolute gems on disc, but harrison stafford wears on me after awhile with his overpowering vocal leads.. i have a feeling itd all come together live though, such talented musicians, lots of jazzy solos on top of thick reggae grooves.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

well we are here at the swing station in laporte.  its  small place, but is pretty decent.  there\'s wireless connection here somehow, and definitly one of the weirdest venues i\'ve been to.  there are dudes with cowboy hats and the jukebox is ALL bluegrass and country western.  they are soundchecking now, and it sounds pretty good.  last night was a good one, and people were definitly excited.  things are getting better every day, and i cant wait to get into the rockies....we still havent reached that far into the state.  but anyways, i\'ll send the list as soon as the shows over.   dont really know what to expect for attendance, but they dont start for another 2 or 3 hours.  well take care ya\'ll !!

I\'m getting nervous about the Crystal Bay show.  We have been receiving rain here nearly every day since the beginning of the month.  Consequently, the high elevation Sierras have been graced with lots of snow (approximately 9 feet has fallen up there since March 1st).  When significant snow falls, the interstate that leads through the mountains to the Nevada side is either closed or only open to rugged autos with chains on the tires.  Lets hope we get a reprieve so our cars can make it up to the show.

Hey Giavanna, how is it being world famous now that the band is distributing Breakfast Digests with your profile in them across the nation?

Ha ha! Actually I forgot all about it! I grabbed one in Denver but just threw it in my bag to look at later and then I saw it on .info. I have gotten a lot of hits on the old website lately though. Thanks for not making me sound like a total Classical Dork ;)
