Axis is a great tune, but was a Phish cover for some time.  Not to say that they cant do it, but it wouldnt be nearly as SER as if they did Hendrix\'s Crosstown Traffic or Machine Gun, personally I would love to see a Burning of the Midnight Lamp.....on the Hendrix front....Wait Until Tomorrow would be sick too

I know how most of you feel about the Breakfast covering Phish, but I would like to see a David Bowie.  Last time I remember anything close to that was a Bowie tease at the Fongoulish Freakout 3.  For those that weren\'t there, the whole room was in awe once that bass started thumping.  Of course it ended soon after everyone got the chance to gaze at each other in amazement.  Same thing happened with YEM on April Fools 2000.

Speaking of Phish covers, was Stash ever played again after the 11-17-00 Butterfield show?  Their rendition was amazing and that is still my favorite show to this day.

rotfl HAAA rotfl

that would be monumental....well mostly mental but....

there was a kid at the boomers sbc (blue sweater) show throwin up the VH handsign at timmy.  and what a good night that was for that, because timmy was eating it up and doin sick eddie licks.... the differences between the sbc show and BAR show are amazing really show the range that these guys have to offer.  if anyone out there hasn\'t seen the true goof timmy on stage, i think it could be one of the most entertaining things out there.  and just watching the faces of ronnie, jordan, and adrian when they are playing and reacting to timmy provides for some great moments (ie ronnie looking at timmy after the "Beeyotch" yell this past saturday... Thanks to Wah for spottin that)

i\'m gonna preface this by saying that i didnt bother reading any of this thread except for some of this page so if people brought these up already, forgive me.

but yeah, steve, as far as hendrix goes, crosstown traffic and wait until tomorrow are great tunes, but i think that Angel would be a great tune for the breakfast to cover.  they could do a number with it.  i\'d also like to hear them cover something from "Tommy".  the who are the shit, and that is a great record.  pb would tear it up.  they do acid queen from time to time, but there are some WAYYYY better songs on that record.   like sparks.  i wanna hear them cover sparks, or the underture which are like the same song anyway.  this is getting long.  i\'m done.

Tommy has been discussed many times in this scene...

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE an Eyesight To The Blind....

There is a part in Eschers that makes me think of a tune from Tommy..not sure if its the overture or what, but whenever I hear it I think "man! I would love to see them play some stuff off of Tommy"

You may a chance with "The Acid Queen"... or you\'ll catch a drumstick to the temple depending on the Animal\'s mood.
