Manfred Mann\'s Earth Band\'s, "Blinded By The Light"

I was just gonna say that.... wouldn\'t this be sick?!

I\'m surprised to see so many people afraid to see The Breakfast play the rare-and-far-between Phish tune. I think if they bust it out at the right time it could work well... like Tim could break out a David Bowie solo better than Trey\'s been able to do in over 10 years (or ever). Chalkdust Torture would be fun.

I think it\'s pretty obvious to anyone who listens to more than 1 Breakfast song that they aren\'t riding on anyone\'s coattails. You really think if The Breakfast does a sick Phish cover there is going to be thoughts in anyone\'s mind besides, "Wow!"

If you are there, you will love it. If you aren\'t there and checked the setlist anyway than you are already into The Breakfast.
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

Definitely wish they would throw in a Phish song every once in a while. The music is challenging, and Breakfast playing it would definitely raise eyebrows. Stash, YEM, Golgi Apparatus, Chalk Dust, The Wedge, It\'s Ice, and Weigh are a few that deserve consideration.

a Breakfast Brother would explode heads.....

It would make a ser TimmyTour tune.....acoustic guitar riffs....timmy screaming and jumping around....well I guess that can happen during any solo timmy tune....

Phish covers will be back... the band just needs to get to the point where they don\'t have to be careful of what tunes they play (i.e. when they don\'t have to "sell themselves" to new fans and new execs).  Granted I am not the biggest Phish fan (... "phan", sorry) but for now, teases are enough for me.  Maybe a certain private party that isn\'t technically a gig could be home for a bust-out or two.

I would gladly replace any YEM in a setlist with one of the longer "jam-featuring" originals (Great Big, Escher\'s, Rufus, Gladys... you know the stuff).
Go see your Breakfast, there are starving Leiths in California

Doogie Howser theme > drums > Doogie Howser theme
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
