2005 regular season:
422 points scored, the second-highest total in franchise history (1963)

5,787 total yards were also second-most in team history.

offense ranked fourth in the NFL with an average of 361.7 yards a game
That is the team’s highest ranking since 1972

fifth team in NFL history to have five different players score at least seven touchdowns. Barber scored 11, and Jeremy Shockey, Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer and Brandon Jacobs scored seven apiece

 Osi Umenyiora was first in the NFC and second in the NFL with 14.5 sacks.

 Barber had the greatest season by a running back in Giants history and one of the best years anyone has ever had in the NFL.

He was second in the NFL with 1,860 rushing yards (20 yards behind Shaun Alexander).

Barber also had 530 receiving yards. He is the only player in NFL history with at least 1,800 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in the same season. His 2,390 total yards were second-most in NFL history. St. Louis’ Marshall Faulk had 2,429 yards in 1999 (1,381 rushing, 1,048 receiving).

Tiki= My favorite running back of all time. I\'ve never witnessed a more creative running back.  

AS long as Manning doesn\'t toss it to Shockey we should be safe. The Giants need to utilize Plaxico more: that fucker is tall!!!

if the running game and the passing game can both get on the same page and  both own face the competion is dunzo.

If we do that and take out Seatle there will be no stopping us.
