heard rufus on sirius 17 jam_on as I was getting dressed today at around 1:45p.

this was the first time I have heard the breakfast on sirius despite them labeling the song on Psychdelic Breakfast. Is their any way to get them to play a little more of the breakfast perhaps some live cuts from killer shows or even some newer stuff would be great as well.

thats pretty sweet that they played pb on sirius, i\'ve had some experiences with the xm radio, and never saw the breakfast on there, also the xm jam station is kinda on the weak side, and they never play any grateful dead and everytime they did, it would always be like truckin or casey jones..pretty lame  xm seems to only play a lot of the same artists over and over again..like queensryche (not on the jam station but you see the name pop up a lot on the other ones), does that happen a lot on sirius?

i hear the same songs on sirius jam17. i leave plenty of messages to the "so-called" jam dj\'s to get their shit in gear. out of 10,000 fuckin grateful dead songs and shows we get to hear the same shakedown with bradford m. twenty times a week. or even better, hey lets all jam out to o.a.r.
fuckin punks. same shit....same shit....same shit....same shit.....

i agree with you on some points.  my brother has xm radio and the jam band station does seem rather weak.  i on the other hand have sirius and I enjoy the jam on station alot, but a few artists do pop up over again, but the jam station isnt the only channel playing gd and you do have a variety of songs played. but as far as the jam music is quite diverse some of the same songs crop up time and time again although i may be more partial to sirius since I own that one. guess i\'ll have to get some input from my bro on the xm, i mean he likes it but then again he\'s not a jamband fan, but does enjoy the breakfast so he has some crediability.

I have Sirius as well, and they play alot of good shit, but if you listen very often, it is somewhat repetitive.... they play many different bands, but only a few tracks from each.

That being said, there are a few other eally good stations to choose from.  Buzzsaw 19 is another one of my favorites... really as far as rock goes, 15-19 are decent.  Also, Backspin 43 is the shit if you like old skool rap.
