I think Igziabeher has the right idea. You can\'t just fluff fluff fluff on the internet or people will push back. It\'s not like it is with flyers where you want to get them up everywhere.
Internet fluffing is like hard drugs: There\'s a point up to which it\'s good, but anything beyond that brings on negative reactions really fast.
Imagine the forums are real life. Like say everyone on .info is at a Breakfast show. At the end of first set you turn to the guy next to you and say "Wow, how about that Buquebus?" to which he replies "Tea Leaf Green kicks ass!" You then notice that that guy goes around to everyone at the Breakfast show and does nothing but talk about Tea Leaf Green. It doesn\'t matter what anyone else is talking about and and it doesn\'t matter what band is playing, he just talks about Tea Leaf Green. This guy is a total loser. Nobody likes him. By the third time this guy strolls up to your conversation and says "Guess what? Tea Leaf Green is playing here soon!", everyone tells him to shut up and walks away.
You\'ve got to establish respect first, then slip them the fluff when they\'re comfortable with you. They shouldn\'t even think it\'s fluff. If you think your post is fluffing, you haven\'t established your respect properly yet.
I\'m content to leave PT moe. to Igziabeher.
