i don\'t mean to break up all the detective work and finger pointing, but just out of curiousity, were the police called?? i\'ve seen claims of breaking & entering, trespassing, and vandalism, but i haven\'t once heard any mention of the police being called or a report being filed. seems like that would have been a logical approach.. :idunno:
i thought about that but if the police are called, it will bring attention to a few things:
1) we weren\'t supposed to be technically having a party with "strangers" showing up. it was supposed to be a party i was having with some friends. so if they asked for a guestlist i\'d have a lot of explaining to do.
2) the band would most likely be questioned by the police. i\'m sure they don\'t want their name attached to this incident in a police report. and let\'s face it. who wants to be interrogated by the popo?
3) the police would keep a closer eye on the club in the future and since there is only one road in and out of there then i\'m sure those guys who hang out in the bar downstairs drinking and watching sports every night don\'t want to deal with the fuzz circling their parking lot.
4) if we ever decide to have another event like this in Fairfield then you can bet that it won\'t be an easy drive home. cops have nothing better to do in this town than hassle high school kids and i\'d like to keep it that way.
but that\'s not to say it wasn\'t a good suggestion. it did cross my mind.
