there was a lady there early, VERY early like maybe 4pm who went into the closet next to the stage and said to us, I DONT WANT ANYBODY IN THERE.  we were the only ones there.  THEN she walked out and left the door wide open.  Matt closed it and I guess we assumed it had locked.

who was there when that lady said that ? If I were a detective thats where I would start. It would have been folks who had prior knowledge that there was a closet and that there was stuff in it.

Who was there when that was said and who was there after Terry left.
I think someone knows exaclty who did it but isnt saying dick

I mean if it was someone breaking in after the party was over then why wouldnt they take something of valkue or booze or whatever. Instead someone is going to spend time and effort to get what is being described as large objects moved out in to the cold (in plain view of the off ramp that was mentioned)

i can tell you that the closets are on both sides of the stage.
they were both unlocked.
some random kids rolling up there sunday morning and vandalizing the place=unlikely

any idea about the exact whereabouts of the mirrors when they were found the next day?  I strolled into the lot at about 7 am and didn\'t see anything, but I didn\'t patrol the area.  If it were on the backside of the building though,\'d have definitely seen something.

A few things:

1. I didn\'t see the mess of broken mirrors and whatnot, but are we positive that this wasn\'t done before the show?  Would we definitely have noticed?

2. I too am getting a suspicion that somebody who is ready this right now has the information.  It\'s not a feeling that I like having.

3. Just out of curiosity, do we have confirmation that all of the doors were locked when the last people left that night/first person showed up that morning?  If we can rule the unlikely situation that somebody broke in to the UAC just to break mirrors and assume that it happened after the show, that information would at least give us an idea of who should have seen it happen.

there were still people there after us but what I was trying to say, is that I cannot accept that people we all know and like and spend time with on a regular basis, and would continue to hang out with, would do something so outright malicious like that.

Sorry to hear about this unfortunate event. Terry puts a lot of effort into these nights and it sucks that this happened. I have not been able to attend a UAC show yet and now it looks like I might never get the chance. Dragging large mirrors outside into the snow sounds more like an act of drunken tomfoolery than an act of deliberate vandalism. Either way, not cool.

i think any of the four doors, the one by the bar, one by the deck in front, the one behind the stage and the one to the side of the stage would be just as easy as any of the others.

No, it happened after the show.  Freddie and i saw the mirrors in the closet before the show and they were still intact.

I don\'t know if all the doors were locked.  I was gone.  It was supposed to be locked.  I cleaned up the bar area and locked that door.


The first person who came into UAC on Sunday morning said that there were doors open and all the lights were still on.  He also said that there was garbage on the floor and tables in the bar area which is weird since we made sure to clean and sweep that area before we left.
