lisa yours sounds fantastic... someone could have planned this a lot better. they had a "reunion service" who we figured made out with about $14K for doing nothing. there was a dj who never said a word and played cheesy 90\'s music and sappy old wedding tunes, on a laptop with slightly larger than computer speakers, and cheese and crackers that went untouched. as it was at the saybrook point inn, and once i found out it was cash bar (which surprised A LOT of people), i fully expected a serious kick ass meal.
but for the people i did see and get business cards etc., and the fact that i know i would have regretted it had i not gone, i guess it was worth it.
and yes mike i guess that does make me feel a little bit better!
oh wait, here\'s the clincher, apparently we had a lot of $ left over in our class budget and our class president was a bit of a slacker, so they would only hold it 6yrs and they never planned a 5yr reunion. so "we" donated a park bench to the school in memory of the 3 classmates who\'ve died in the last 10yrs. only problem is they dedicated it to the twin brother of one of them, who of course is still living. :sigh:
