interesting, history repeats itself all the time. If theres one thing i got out of the histories of herotidus it\'s that the same things happen over and over again every couple of generations, especially wars. World war 1 and 2 were perfect examples: man goes off to fight. Next generation feels that it hasnt had a chance to prove itself like there fathers, so they want to fight. All the death of the past 2 generations creates a backlash and the following generation has groups of people who want nothing to do with war, and even though the countries continue to go to war, there are major protests at home. Eventually, the cycle will begin again (currently in progress) and major groups will again desire to go to war and the troops will be rallied. Their stories will inspire the following generation, which will want to prove themselves as much as the previous, and a new war will be created to remedy the desire. If not, they will riot against the government, which will weaken the infastructure. This will cause a different country to see a chance to overtake them, and now they are at war with no leadership and it goes on and on and on and on. At least as far back as the trojan war, this has pretty much been western civilizations style of living. I have not done that much research on eastern history, so I can\'t comment on it.
To all these people, I say the same thing I said to the army recruters in high school: Go read \'all quiet on the western front\'.
