i would see it as and insult to fans to have this so-called reunion show.  what happen to giving those fans who werent allowed in coventry, aren\'t they supposed to have some sort of compensation.

What??  I don\'t think the thousands of people that are going to be at the show tonight would look at it as an insult.  I sure won\'t.  If they do end up playing, consider yourself forewarned and it\'s your own fault if you aren\'t there.  As far as Conventry, the only people that were turned away were those who allowed themselves to be turned away.  Apparently I planned ahead, because I got in no problem.  Thousands of people who were "turned away" at the gate still managed to get in.  They parked their cars on the highway and hiked many miles, but they got in.  I guess unless you\'re personally invited by the band, it will be an insult to you.

It\'s not like Phish is your personal friend who betrayed you.  They are a bunch of musicians who are just doing what they want to do, whether that be tour, retire, unretire, have a one time reunion show.  Whatever.  Who are any of us to judge.  How would you like it if everyone judged your every move.  Just enjoy the music you do get to see and if they do get back together, count your blessings and hope it lasts.  And, if it doesn\'t, hopefully you got to experience it a couple more times.  And, if tonight is not what I\'m hoping it is, I\'ll look back on my 92 experiences and smile and catch some solo shows now and again.  Life is short, don\'t be so bitter.

Trey played 7 Phish songs acoustic last night.  That\'s awefully ironic given all the speculation.

i was at coventry, i planned ahead got in eariy as well. i am not a big fan of phish anyways so I wouldnt go either way.  My first phish show was IT, my last was Coventry, and I saw them a few times in between. I am much rather looking phorward toward the countdown to the breakfast returning to the electric company on the 9th of dec. to play in utica.

all this talk about this made me have a dream about it last night..

it was weird.. sort of like a high school auditorium setting.. i was \'downstairs\' with the breakfast, when someone came in and said \'phish is playing. they\'re playing reba\'. so i bolted upstairs to check it out, and there they were.. and it was GOOD. damn good. i started crying like a baby cause i missed them so much..

the jam was incredible, but at the end of it, they didn\'t go into the whistling section. instead, all of their instruments were being wheeled off stage, as these guys with huge marching bass drums entered and they started playing the imperial march! i guess this was trey\'s new band, but i dunno.. it was really weird.. there were other bands too.. i just remember crying and looking over at ron and having him roll his eyes at me.. rotfl

I am not sure who this person thinks that he is spreading these false rumors. I think he should get his block knocked off.

I understand that it would be great if phish actually got together, but I really don\'t see that happenning. I am just sick of reading all of these rumors and getting my and everyone elses hopes up. I have just come to a realization that we need to stop this and just let it be a suprise if it happens.

I really do think that Keven Weber should be layed out! We must start somewhere so lets start with him.

shouldn\'t be too hard for you to lay him out, since you\'re both using the same computer..

Dave - this guy works with me.  He\'s a comedian, huh?  He\'s the one who actually first told me about "the rumor", sent me the fake AP press release, and is giving me a ride to the show.  In a previous post, I said I\'m going to lay out a hippie if Phish isn\'t on stage tonight.  I take that back, I\'m laying out my co-worker.

Of course, if it turns out to be true, I will be very grateful to him and may even buy him a veggie burrito.

oh man...

I stand by my other post. It would be great if they got together and did something nobody ever really liked, like jenifer dances and then broke up again, just to razz all the \'what if they got back..\' people on the web. I loved phish, it makes no difference to me though. If they get back together, I will go see them. If they don\'t, I\'ll see a hell of alot more breakfast. end of story.

I dreamed about it too. It started out first set and phish just ealked out no one else. They jammed and it was sick. Then we had a hotel that was somehow connected to the venue and we went back there at set break and partied. Then we went back and things got crazy. Now phish was gone and trey was in some crazy hardcore band and the other guys in the band were all tweaked out with face paint and shit and then trey was shredding it really hard. then all of a suden i was on stage too and ripping it up. It was fun. I think I woke up after that.

anyway I am leavin for utica at 4:30

MY OFFICIAL PREDICTION IS THIS:
All members of phish come out and jam with 70vp one at a time  until they are all on stage toward the end of the show. They finish that jam then everyone goes off. The crowd goes crazy and just starts chanting phish. THen phish comes out and plays 2 or 3 phish tunes.  Then trey thanks the crowd and says good night but says nothing else.

YOu heard it hear first.

even better: page, mike, and jon walk out on stage to where a tech has just put a big couch. They sit down and watch treys show, but never pick up any instruments. At the end of the night, trey mike jon and page all take a bow, having done nothing.

Mr. Completely w/ Balloons Drop
Spin
Drifting

Supposedly 2 members of Phish are in the house...

11/11/05 - Jon & Mike w/ Trey?
Rumors that Fishman and Gordon will play with Trey at his show tonite are addressed on Mike\'s current answering machine (212-330-9092) message, where he reports they\'ll be on the guestlist, less than 72 hours after Page played with Trey. Too big of a gap for a reunion, but getting closer.

I don\'t see how people can get all worked up over a long shot chance of 3 members of a one time great band playing together.  foolish, i say.
