heres my favorite player
19 years in the majors
.305 lifetime avg
3 batting titles (in three different decades)
led the league in doubles 3 times
led the league in triples 3 times
317 career homers (before steroids and the juiced ball)
1595 rbi\'s
201 stolen bases
only player besides mays to hit .300 with 300 homers and 200 stolen bases
hit .3fucking90 one year
and always treated the game with respect  (as did mattingly)

oh yeah.....i left out....first ballot hall of famer (which i went to)
this is a "great player"
the other guy was a very good player who had several great years
