On Tuesday 11/1/05, Trey Anastasio will be DJing for the entire day on Sirius channel 17 "JamOn".  I wonder what kind of stuff DJ Trey will be packing for a whole day, and how much will be his new album "Shine."  I\'ll be listening for sure, perhaps we\'ll find out that DJing was Trey\'s calling all along.

Alright all you trendy Trey trash-talkers, commence trendy Trey trash-talk...now!

Trey\'s 17 hour DJ stint from 7am to midnight is in the homestretch, and I gotta say, I hope this becomes a weekly show.  He\'s been spinning a great, great mix of music all day.  Frank Zappa, Fela Kuti, Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix, Dead, Particle, Grisman, Phish, everything.  All sorts of different tracks, not the usual playlist stuff that the channel always plays.  He just had a funny on-air phone conversation with Mike, which was proceeded by him saying "You can call the station at 877-33SIRIUS, but the rule is you can only call if you\'re not mad at me about the whole Phish thing.  [pauses]  Gee, nobody\'s calling."  Good stuff.

Definitely the best day of 17 ever.  Although better than any other channel out there, it sure does get repetitive.
Cheap Sunglasses is a great song!
