Oh yeah, MMW. Too short. Unser. Average show, one long set/jam. For some reason their shows seemed so much better 4-6 years ago. They\'re still good though. Toad\'s is a bad fit for them. They need to be in either a real theatre with assigned seats and killer acoustics, or a small jazz club with under 100 people all at tables drinking $10 cocktails. A rock club with a GA floor and a noisy bar with a TV is not their scene. Take one listen to Tonic and it\'s pretty clear that music like that cannot be made at Toad\'s Place. I thought the crowd energy was decent, especially at the end with everyone doing the oleeeeee ole ole ole chant. I was going to go to Pearl Street to see them tomorrow, but I\'ll take a pass now. It\'s gonna be the same exact show; noisy rock club, punkass staff, 90 minutes one set. I\'m used to seeing them play 2 sets at the Calvin from 8-12. Hopefully they get back to these types of shows. They still have it, they just need to re-evaluate what kind of places they\'re playing.__________________
