Waiting For The Man

16th show and man they just get better and better! Trevor owns the Rhodes keyboards,no doubt abt it! Milky was laying down beats so heavy all night. Fuckin\' ON!!!!! Josh was on fire. I cannot believe what he accomplishes with that guitar and just 3 pedals which rarely get used! Silly really. Scott was the tight foundation he always is w/ a bit of a swing tonight. It was cool.

I felt so many times tonight like I was cheating on The Breakfast, I was having that much fun. If any band is going to challenge The Breakfast for my heart it is Tea Leaf Green. The last 3 shows this past week have proven to me that they can help me reach points of ecstasy as The Breakfast do but in a slightly different way. I can only describe it as such. TLG satisfies the side of me raised on GD and folk/country while The Breakfast satisfy my more progressive/Phish/rock needs.

 Wow what a night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They remind me alot of Strangefolk when they had Reid still singin\'.  I have to see them live because it seems like they might be one of those bands that doesn\'t translate over to disc that well for me.  There are only a few bands I can listen to on disc as intently and passionately as I do live.

I agree, i saw them in Portland though and that was a pretty good show, light crowd i think they were actually opening for....... the Dirty Dozens Brass Band. the guys in TLG were pretty cool i spoke with a couple of them.

Ben"Milky"Chambers is a fun Bass Player to listen to if you like to shake your rump. He is very animated and plays the Bass like he was born w/ it in hand. His songs tend to be centered around **** so I really like his songs.lol

Well if a comparison is gonna be made Strangefolk is not too bad. Not quite as folky but I do agree for many people the live show is where it is at just like w/ The Breakfast. I for awhile thought they did not translate well on disc but I really think it is more knowing the material.

Only time I saw them was in Colorado on 4/20/04(?), Tim got up and jammed with them for a few tunes it was very cool.  Other than that, a very SanFran kinda band, good but mostly I agree w/ Gencs (see above)

Yeah a very SanFran kinda band that has fans like Neil Young, Bob Weir, and Warren Haynes to name a few.
You know the "meh" kind of music they are into. PFFFT!!!!!!

Oh and on that note I have decided not to listen to Genc\'s advice on any music until he sheds his "Deadhead disease" you know the disease Bob Weir and Jer used to talk about when he described Deadheads that ONLY listened to the Dead and nothing else. The ones that thought GD was it and all else was crap?
It is Myopia of the ears i tell you!
