no not the pavement album.. just a shit load of excitement.. if you are in the boston area please do yourself a favor and go see Tortoise at the Sommerville Theatre tonight @ 8.. just heard about it and it is gonna be the tits!! crazy avant garde jazz with an edge from Chicago.. def not your run of the mill show..
BTW caveat to all: The Roxy in Boston charges $7 for a bottle of Sam Adams that they pour into a plastic cup. That was my first and last beer ever in that place.

As it was I saw Sage Francis last night, who puts on a really good show. Definitely not your run of the mill show with him either. However, I would have liked to have seen Tortoise too. Maybe next time. BTW caveat to all: The Roxy in Boston charges $7 for a bottle of Sam Adams that they pour into a plastic cup. That was my first and last beer ever in that place.
I\'ll be the non-conformist of this thread and state that Pavement is among my favorite all-time bands and Wowee Zowee is their best album. It\'s their middle album and completely nails the rawness of their early recordings and the melody of their later ones. Pavement is a band that nobody I know listens to and though they\'re not for everyone, I know that some people on this board would like them if they gave one of their albums two complete listens.
Since you\'re so schooled in my custom user titles, it serves noting that GRAVE ARCHITECTURE was once one of them and is perhaps my favorite song on Wowee Zowee. Thanks for representing, Z.
