to many to choose from and it all depends on the mood.. that being said I do feel that the dogfishhead IPAs are hyped up more than Chumphrey\'s McGee... they do make a delicious malt liquor and package it in an appropriate 40 oz. bottle.. at least $6 but guaranteed to send you to the moon.. only saw them in Camden a few summers ago... have been looking eversince....

I used to drink a lot of Ipswich Ale. They make really good beer. But I cant get it in NY.

Sam Smiths

I was drinking a nice keg of Dinkelager dark the other day (only had a beer or 3 though) someone returned the Keg because it was dark. hahahaha

I used to drink a lot more micro brews then I do now. I usually drink a lot of coors light with a few kind beers thrown in but it all depends

Oh had a great pumpkin ale the other night. I think it was a smuttynose.

I disagree about fruit beers.

Cherry Wheat is very good.

Blueberry Ale is pretty good.

They arent the type of beers where you should be drinking 6-9 of them but a few here and there is good. Not to mention the Framboise Peach, Cherry, Raspberry, I think there are a few more. But I would considered those dessert beers almost like sparkilng wine

Any fresh, well hopped IPA works for me, good ones of late: Tremont IPA, Middle Ages Im Paled Ale, Hooker American Pale Ale, Southern Tier IPA, Magic Hat High PA

That being said I do like an ocassional stout or porter. Sierra Nevada, Magic Hat, Ipswich, Southern Tier all make good ones.

One of my favorite all around beers lately is Shipyard Export Ale.

Fruit beers not only suck, they are NOT BEER!

Stone Coast from Maine is really really good.

I know they started selling the 420 Ale and some others in NYC. There was a Keg of it at the Party in Maine that The Breakfast played for a friend of mine. I had never had it before had 1 pint and was like waht beer is this.

I havent done that in a long time.

I think I\'m straight edge after drinking 10+ beers on Friday night.  3-4 are usually sufficient.

not sure if you would actually consider it a "heady micro brew", but I prefer Miller Lite.
