i like the feeling of trashiness at south of the border..i haven\'t stopped there since driving to FL a few years ago, but wouldn\'t mind going back someday.

last time i was at SOB was on tour with this hardcore band i played in called Ash Return.  we hated each other and ended up cancelling some dates to come home early cuz, well, we hated each other (long story) and i drove from orlando to SOB in one shot, no stops.  it felt good to finally get out of the van at 4 am and there was a plethora of places for my to buy cheap novelty items and fireworks.  although at that point i think i\'d already spent all my money on fireworks.  it was still a feeling of accomplishment.  i woke up one of the guys and he had no idea about the existence of SOB so the look on his face was priceless.

Look guys, I\'m doing all that I can. I cannot reschedule my exam unless I have a funeral, medical emergency, or 2 other exams the same day. It\'s my bio exam (my major) and there are 449 other people taking it the same night. My professor isn\'t very sympathetic to excuses, so I\'ll have to take the exam then figure out how the hell I\'m going to talk one of my friends into driving to Chicago at 9 pm.

Kate, all understandings if you can\'t make it; sometimes my sarcasm doesn\'t come out well in messages. I was just pulling an idea from the dark... hell; I\'m not even making it to Chicago this run because I\'m too sissy to ask my boss for another day off.

Anyhow, this is my apology if it was taken the wrong way.

On other hand... There\'s still MN, WI, IA and wherever they decide to stop by on the way home...  They\'ve already hit Indiana once, perhaps they make it twice. At least four shows will suffice.

but ser kate, i cannot believe that you would miss the show because you think you will do badly on your test or something. if you study your ass off and finish it up fast, you should head to chicago..otherwise, you could try to make up some uncomfortable excuse-tell your professor you have head lice or an STD. you should go to a show that is so close to you, it would be a shame if you didn\'t..i know it\'s tough to juggle school and fun, but it is possible to manage all of those things and still get good grades. give it a shot before you drive however many hours in the car to ct.

Just tell your friend whose car you have, you need to borrow it for a few minutes. Tell them you have to run to the store for some school supplies. Just bring it back by morning, no questions asked. Also, put enough gas in it, so it looks like you only went down the street.

you have got to be joking. i\'m starting to wonder if you are finding excuses NOT to go and i don\'t understand because for a while there, it seemed like you loved the band and were dying to see them. you read the anticipation, setlists and reviews on this website all the time, so you may assume that a night with the breakfast in chicago will be a blast. if you don\'t end up going to this show, please do not complain about how you never see the band/how far away you are. who knows if they are going to IN. out of all the the times i have seen them, i have seen them only 1 time in VA, maybe 4-6 times in baltimore over the last year and a half. come on, you\'ve got plenty of college ahead of you, you can have some fun.
