I just hope they play 2 sets...it should start as of now that they (other than fests or opener acts/co-bills) make sure they play 2 sets.  It is a definite plus with any band, but esp. with how hard the Breakfast rage, to have a set break to realx, take a walk, indulge, etc.  Plus I feel it makes certain songs have more of an effect on people.

For example, one of the most soulful, jammed out "Fairy"s that I recall from the 9/18/04 Wheelhouse show would have been a monstrous, triumphant closer.  Given another minute or two to flare up at the end of a set would have etched it into peoples minds forever.  Yet, the band launched into another song and another and some intense jams, alas "Fairy" was all but forgotten.

Also the anticipation of what they will open set 2 with always jolts a crowd up to a mini-frenzy prior to music even being played.  Remember, for those who know, the exhileration of the house lights and music cutting off when the Dead or Phish were to return to the stage.  Let\'s here it for TWO SETS!!!

well put.  that is another reason why i\'m not trying 100% to make it to the iron horse because whenever I see a show there, it always starts late.  Whatever the price is (although i\'m not a cheap person), it\'s always more $$ than other shows and it\'s always a shorter set than other shows, although that Rufus set was well worth the $18 or whatever it was

You can\'t miss a show 20 miles away.  Friday morning\'s remedy:  coffee!

I know, I know...that is what\'s killing me.  I\'m also swamped at work with madatory OT this week.  I don\'t know if I have it in me, gonna have to be a game time decision.

i believe there will be two sets, for two reasons; first  no opening band, second i was informed (but not sure the legitamacy) by a staff member at pearl street (the other venue in noho) that bands are now allowed to play until 2 am as opposed to the previous 1 am curfew....

regardless of all this, this show will be a rager as berzerker has said....The Iron Horse ROCKS!

plus there will be pregaming/latenight activities at my place which is literaly down the street

I know Pearl St shut down a sold out Brothers Past show a week and a half ago at 12:30.  Some people when asking why the early shut down(2 sets no encore), they were told"Hey we want to party too!"

Noho is such a chill city... and only an hour away from uconn territory, so I\'ll definitely be there. If anyone\'s looking for some grub to eat beforehand, there\'s an awesome restaurant/brewery in the area. Not sure of the name of the street it\'s on, but it\'s within walking distance from the ole Iron Horse.
