Blackalicious consists of The Gift of Gab on the mic and Chief Xcel spinning. They are part of a musical Collective called Quannum Projects that used to be Soleside Records. If you do not have any Quannum Projects in your collection you are sorely lacking in some SER HIP HOP!!

Oh yeah A2G is the debut EP by these guys and is a great pick up if you can find it.

A few of the folk that are also apart of Quannum Projects are Latyrx, Lyrics Born and the one the only DJ Shadow. J5 are down w/ Quannum as is the Hieroglyphics Crew. Right now for me this collective and friends are what Hip Hop can be @ it\'s best, thought provoking lyrics w/ the dopest of beats and flow that can\'t be touched. Creative turntable work matched w/ the former and watch out. New Blackalicious? Bring It!

I got it recently and think it\'s good but not nearly as good as "Blazing Arrow" or "Nia"  Don\'t get me wrong I like it but they changed the approach
