hey dave, i was wondering if you were genius enough to make some breakfast cell phone rings.  i have no idea how it\'s done or if you\'re capable, but we were talking about it at moe.down, and breakfast ringtones would be sick !  is it possible ??

there\'s a few phones out there where it is possible to set a song from a cd as your ringtone, not sure which exact phones though

gonna move this to general discussion, as it would be a group effort, and not necessarily a .info thing..

there are many different kinds of ringtones for phones.. many phones are able to use .mp3 clips as ringtones, which i can easily offer.. as for midi ringtones, that i can\'t do, but other people (jim cobb?) may be able to hook something up..

my phone (and most affordable phones) only uses midi ringtones, so someone would have to spend the time to make the midi files.  i\'d do it, but between my band\'s record and this movie i\'m scoring, i just dont have the time.

edit:  if you guys dont mind waiting a long time, i can do some...

Antman has the entire real radio Score as his ringtone. I think he ordered his phone from overseas.

Tried programming ringtones once before, but found it hellish difficult. I managed to get Camel\'s Rhayader from the Snow Goose Album off the net, but had to tweak it a bit to get the timing right. Maybe I should just upgrade from my archaic Nokia 3330.

If your phone has a recordable memo, you could record it and set the song as a ringtone. Thats the easyest but not everyone has this opion on there phone
