Just got back from the down.....only gonna give a short review (full one will come later after some rest).  All I can say is saturday was one of the best days of my life.  That gravity was INSANE......and then there was buqubeus....a MONSTER, really got that place moving.  Tons of new fans were made that night.  It was taped by several people.  Nice to meet a bunch of new people from the board, more to come later.....

p.s. Moe. was tight on saturday, and terripin was sick on sunday

thats cool. that woulda been the shit standing around watching MMW for an hour and a half, going nuts about the first set, real excited about the 2nd. repeat second time around. only leading up to that 30 min. spot i cant even imagine what was goin through peoples minds. and then.....  :scared:

good stuff.

i have never seen that many people that blown away by the breakfast...heads and newbs alike. after every set and the next day people couldnt even understand what had happened...but they knew they loved every second of it.

what an amazing weekend.. i don\'t even know where to begin..

moe.down was a great success. i have to say that i was a little disappointed with the crowd in the first set.. lighter than i expected.. it was a pretty good set musically.. escher\'s was defintiely a notable, as was may fly.. doughboy was a nice strong closer to make people want more in the next 2 sets.

when the crowd left to head up for MMW, they definitely did their job. word of the Breakfast spread like wildfire during MMW\'s set, and by the time the band had started set 2, the tent was stuffed!

set 2 was even better.. WUIAC opener - awesome. the jam into SB was also quite good. BB wasn\'t as good as some of the ones we\'ve seen lately, but it was still above average. Gravity was off the hook, and taking it into TONT really took the show to another level. everyone was rocking out HARD during TONT! the segue back into gravity was a little sloppy, but still pleasing. Gravity was supposed to be the set closer, but during the 2nd half of it, the band was granted one more song, so WPOA was thrown in.. a damn good one, i might add. the end of WPOA was off the hook, and people were screaming when it was over. great set.

with only a half hour for the band to play in between moe.\'s sets, i wasn\'t expecting a lot of people to leave their spots to come down to see the b\'fast.. boy was i wrong! the tent was even more stuffed for set 3, and the band managed to floor everyone there. the buquebus was MONUMENTAL! huge, just huge. and the segue into the scheme was seamless. perfect, perfect, perfect. only problem was they sort of ran out of time towards the end of TGSOT, so you will hear that the end comes a little rushed. still could have not asked for anything more from the set.

after set 3, a lot of people stayed, and were making a lot of noise for an encore. people really wanted it, and for about 5-6 minutes, people were really loud. it looked like they were thinking about giving the band an encore, as moe. still hadn\'t started their set, but finally, they decided to not give the band an encore.. still though, the fact that people were NOT leaving to go see moe. was a huge victory, imo.

great success. well done, breakfast, and welcome, new fans!
