Tim told me that they were probably playin Porters the day before Thanksgiving again.

Assuming that Porters is still open by then...
I have heard from a couple of different sources that they are in trouble and may be no more in no time....

If thats the case, who wants to chip in and buy that place?  I can run and manage the kitchen...
I can pour beer. This would be a huge loss to the already dwindling CT music venue scene.

So getting back to the show. Thought it was great, highlights:
2001-Best I\'ve ever ever heard.
Dimension 5 - Finally! After begging Ron all summer, it finally happened. I love this song and there is no reason to limit its appearance.
Mooboo\'s-Ser epic.
Message in a Bottle - Please place on shelf. Thank You.

that would really be too bad.  but dont go spreading rumours too soon as that can become self fulfilling prophecy.  my godmother owned the old humphreys west that was in the bldg before porters and obviously they struggled and took a huge loss.  it\'s so difficult for a small business to make it, and as anyone from that neck of the woods knows, there is already nothing to do, nowhere to go at night for fun.
i wonder if a new advertising/mgmt campaign would help them?  theres got to be a way to stay alive, because they already book some fantastic names so they must be doing something right.  nice people too.

Love the Police; Sting is a great musician. Like MIAB when I don\'t hear it too much.

Also like D5.

Also, really love spilling beer.

Yeah...

thanks to Dave, Nikki, and Chris M for helping me clesan up the multiple beers that were spilled by me. Actually, Dave cleaned one of them up entirely. Thanks.

Also thanks to Seth for being extremely loud about the spilling of the second beer, so as to get the attention and "oooohhhhh"s of everyone around. :P
