But since Phish\'s first show isn\'t on the date we list, there\'s no significance to that stat, and actually, it\'s really not a stat. If I said "A-Rod was believed to have batted .900 this year," you wouldn\'t call it a stat. You\'d call that wrong.

Sorry Pitchie, you\'re really reaching here.  This is a fact that was widely believed for almost 20 years.  If it were not significant then you wouldn\'t be hung up on it.  If you want to say it is a "fact" as opposed to a "stat" fine, I don\'t care.  But your present argument is moot.  Game over.  Next.

Bottom line: There is no error in Breakfast Digest Episode 2, only errors in some people\'s interpretation of the English language.

How about in the interpretation of where an article continues??? Page 1 articles left/ right are switched on page 3. Not a big problem for anyone with a few brain cells left, but awkward none the less.

Thanks, noticed that too, will keep in mind for next time.

I guess I just wanted a stat that had some significance, or rather, made any sense.

Then rather than whining and bitching why don\'t you step up and submit one yourself?

Howwa bout keeping stats 100% about the Breakfast with no comparison to what other bands were believed to have done or have done.

How about stats about the longest Breakfast show or the longest song they played. Or the most shows in a day.

Wolf- Can we submit some stats for consideration?

People, please understand that ChrisPitch is doing something called "ball-breaking".  It\'s this thing that happens a lot in East Haven, CT where you make fun of and belittle someone even though you don\'t mean it.  It\'s a sign of affection, really.  But it doesn\'t translate well onto message boards because you can\'t tell when someone\'s being sarcastic.  For the record, Pitchie does not think that the stat is bad, he just likes to pick on me as a sign of affection.  There does not need to be any rules for any Breakfast stat in Breakfast Digest.  Anyone and everyone is encouraged to submit any stat, fact, or other writing.  The submissions so far have been great.  Please send all submissions to breakfastdigest@hotmail.com

eye of the beholder todd. 90% of how smart you know is what you can make people think you know. 10% are actual facts.

Kent: Mr. Simpson, how do you respond to the charges that petty
vandalism such as graffiti is down eighty percent, while heavy
sack-beatings are up a shocking nine hundred percent?

Homer: Aw, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent.
Forfty percent of all people know that.
