Jordan will be joining John McCarthy and Father Panic for a free concert in the Savin Rock area of West Haven on Thursday, August 11 at &:30. Openning is Pencilgrass at 6:30.
The band will consist of West Haven\'s John McCarthy on guitar, the Living Colour rhythm section of Doug Wimbish and Wil Calhoun on bass and drums respectively, Meters mastermind Leo Nocentelli on guitar, and Jordan Giangreco of the Breakfast on keys.
Material will be features cuts from the groups first CD, slated for fall release on HMG Records, and selected songs from the Meters catalog.
The concert is free. Profits from merch sales will go toward the purchase of a new van for West haven handicapped students.
Should be a fun, free night. It will also be fun to see Jordan get the chance to step it up with some other A list players.
We were initially going to have The Breakfast on this show, but thought that with the Puppet House shows et al coming up, it might hurt the draw. PB needs to generate some funds from those shows to get their van issues resolved.
