My friends and I werent even carded

SO not fair. :sigh:

I saw the bartender carding people @ the bar though, but getting on the boat was not an issue.  unless you were carrying "contraband"  They were brutal with the pat downs

As w/ any dead tune Jordan sang it was nasty I honestly was upstairs and didn\'t see the whole thing but what I caught was great, not too too long though

meh....

Fun time overall but the show weak sauce in my opinion.

Deffinitly didnt live up to all the hype surrounding this event.

It had it moments but overall the show never really took off.

It was nothing compared to the last nyc show.

It was nice to hear sundance again. been forever since I seen of those.

The score was pretty rippin. Other than that not really much to rave about. Adrian raged it pretty hard but no one else was doing anything too crazy.

The new covers were kinda cool but somewhat sloppy and the vocals very merky.

eppy 2 was average. It was cool at the end they were jamming real fast and hard before cutting out and going to the end section which was a little different than usual.

There was a popeye tease in I believe mayflay.

kind of dissapointing musically but oh well. Had a great day in the city before the show and had a fun time on the boat and met a bunch more .infoers.

wish i went to block island. I know its gonna be hot tonite just to spite me.

Lookin forward to gnu groove tho!

ps-> sorry to be such a hater but I gotta call em like I see em.

ya they carded me at the bar.. but i have an id so its all good.. the pat downs were insane fellas. In fact, ive never witnessed such an extensive pat down ever before. After hiding my bowl in a bush i had no problem getting on...

DUde the entire show was amazing.. The second half had the boat rockin, maybe that was the waves, but the music deff contributed. To say the least, the show was bad ass

hey chris ! yes I did tape it I will be bringing down the dats for you on sunday. I also already put it on disc and I am making some copies to bring with me on sunday to give to spacey. I am surprised I was able to do it on how tired I am. Ron came with me so you see what we were up against being so far up here in maine makes it tough, but ohh so worth the trip. I remember just turning to ron and saying can you believe this !!! As we were going by the statue of liberty. In between sets just about everyone was upstairs on the boat just as we were going under the bridge, everyone was looking up screaming. I looked around at the cruise line employees I could tell they were taken by surprise!!! Great seeing everyone what a great family we have! Hey jim great to meet you finally along with mike and his friend a fellow taper and TJ. There was four of us taping, so I am sure it will be up soon on archive. Sick sick show, Everytime it just gets better toping the last show. Dave , chris and matt wish you guys were there missed all of you! Even freddie!

Yes klout forgot all about you so sorry, Great to see you, anyway looks like you forgot to give me your addy. Pm me with it, I need to get you the 4-21-05 show along with this one. One thing to add to your comments, Not that I disagree, because I can see what you mean to some degree, But everyone must take one thing into consideration, this boat was rocking I mean really rocking , I only had two beers the whole night and I was getting knocked around , consider trying to play the complex songs they did and putting your fingers some place and having to maintain your balance. Playing the drums you can sit, so a little easier. Adrian told me it was still tough this is the first time for them on a boat.

oh believe me jason I thought of it.

there was a lot of factors. The boat rocking while trying to play being a major one. the set up was weak. kind shoved in the corner of the boat next to the bar. weak turnout, not what they were hoping for. sound was iffy. but the mood saved it from being a total dud and good times were had :)

thanks for the shows i\'ll pm you my info!

you comin to gnu groove????

I was pretty it into for about half the show on and off. It wasn\'t bad or anything. Just no where near the other shows I have seen this year. But an average breakfast show is still a lot more fun than a good show of most other bands. I think it was also somewhat disapointing for me because I hadn\'t seen any breakfast shows in 2.5 months and I was expecting the FIRE. There was lots of hype surrounding this show and ussually when that is the case they step up to the plate and deliver in a major way that EXCEEDS all the hype and expectations.
