Post mixing to 6 channel surround Protools 24bit/48khz >
DVD rendered to Dolby 5.1 AC3 @ 448kbps, 48khz (lossy)

High Definition DVD Audio:
26 channel multitrack recording @ 24bit/48k - direct mic split
Post mixing - Protools 24bit/48k
DVD rendered to PCM audio 24bit/48k (lossless)

On-site Recording by Matt Vallo and Chris Fitzpatrick
Audio mixing and DVD authoring by Matt Vallo
photos by Derick Wiaderski and High RPM

Burn this DVD audio the same way you would burn a standard NTSC DVD video.
and/or just play it in your computer using InterVideo windvd or other dvd playback software.

True Dolby 5.1 playback requires a 6 speaker set up and 5.1 decoder/soundcard.
also, Some dvd players don\'t support PCM24bit/48k playback or menu-based music compilations.

this is not actually a video, just the audio+photographs. it is basically a dvd menu with audio from the show.

In the main menu you can choose from either listening to a surround sound mix (if you have a 6 speaker setup on your dvd player or computer), or you can listen to the stereo 24bit version which is the unreleased multitrack recording (not available in 16bit FLAC or CD format).

this is very confusing for most people and i am sure a lot of people will download it without knowing exactly what they are getting into, but i recommend checking it out.

Thanks chris for giving a better explanation of this new format. I\'m sure there will be plenty of questions once this show is finished. I highly recommend this download as this show is only available in dvd-audio format and is not available is flac.

It looks like this torrent is done. I was looking for some feedback on the DVD-audio format.
Did anyone have problems with playback on their dvd player/computer.
what did you like or dislike about the menu setup? what\'s it missing or needing?
how was the 2 channel mix?
how was the 5.1 mix? Were all the channels balanced?

Both positive and negative criticism is welcome.
