definitly the old days.  although i must say, hatebreed never did it for me.  i was more of a madball, agnostic front, h2o, 25 ta life kinda guy.

speaking of which, i was playing this show in long island and in rolls the singer from 25 ta life.  turns out we were opening for them, hahaha which was rediculous cuz our sound for those of you who dont know, is lightyears away from theirs.

That was my scene/roots too, falling into The Breakfast crew happened by accident.

Def. Converge and lots of punk bands.  We were just recently driving around with Converge\'s "When Forever Comes Crashing" blasting out the car windows.   My sister knows Bane from her college days and I think they lived in her dorm at UMass.  I haven\'t really heard any good punk/harcore music that may have been created recently.  As far as I know, there are a lot of cheesy pop/punk/emo bands that don\'t really appeal to me out there.  I generally listen to my old stuff when I hit the vault containing my high school music collection.   There used to be some nasty local hardcore punk bands back in the 90\'s.  One band I really used to like was called All Crome, though I\'m not sure if they played outside of New England.

has anybody need to great woods lately??  I haven\'t since Pearl Jam.  Can you still kinda party there before hand, or will they kick you into the show early.  I\'m only planning on going in for the end of keller, UM, and SCI.

Personally as an avid GW concert attender i find that its best to go early with beers/food/etc and find a private lot (the first house after the last main entrance of the free lots costs 20 bucks and the people who live there are extremley chill) There is no wait when you want to leave and you can drink/ smoke/snort/ do anything you want really and they won\'t have a problem....Then usually a lil bit before i wanna go in i hit up the free lots and see if theres any type of lot scene/shakedown goin on.

The problem that I have with Great Woods and all other Mass. venues is that you have to be 25 to buy a beer if you are an out-of-stater.

I know this sucks....but (as an in-stater) I\'m happy to buy anyone as many beers as they would like!
