So people that listen to whole sets of DnB(like myself), and notice small nuances and changes in music you think goes nowhere...that is where the short attention span lies?  The fact that you cannot listen to it because you feel it doesn\'t "go" anywhere and you don\'t stick around to see what changes come the music...you don\'t have a short attention span.  I would think that if you cann;t listen to music that doesn\'t change every 2 seconds into some other melody, that would constitute a "short" attention span.

Again another example in the long line of close-minded Breakfast fandom.  Even Wah had the decency to just say no thanks.  Why is it that this scene especially has to put down other forms of music to feel better about what they listen to?  If you don\'t want to go to the site and listen then don\'t take the time to post to put down music I love.  Just ignore the post if it is about something you don;t care about.  There could be some on here that do like electronic music(although i wouldn\'t be surprised if they left this site due to the constant abuse electronic music gets around here).  I for one, if just getting into this band by coming to this board would have already stopped checking in so as not to hear some of my favorite music/musicians bashed constantly.

However I don\'t give a flying F and will continue to try and talk about other genres of music on this part of the board considering that is what it is here for.

With that said I have just gotten hold of almost ALL of Infected ********\'s catalog of discs and it is AMAZING!  One of the leaders in the GOA/Psychedelic Trance movement, Infected ******** is a mind expanding trip through the realms of the psyche that most don\'t like to go.   Others to look for are Simon Posford aka Hallucinogen(will be at CBIV) and his collective group with Raja Ram; Shpongle.  Also his collective with Prometheus; Younger Brother(also at Camp Bisco).  Truly innovative stuff here.

Flame away.

why post that stuff? it\'s pointless, and goes nowhere intellectually. it\'s just lame ass for someone to click on a thread about something they have no interest in, let alone post in it.

nice threadcrap. :crap:

I can put down other types of music strickly by opinion only...I am not stating facts.....just my opinion......

the only way I\'d give drum n bass a chance is if it was being performed by a "live" band....its pretty cool to hear drum n bass style played by a live groupe...it takes alot of talent to play something that was not ment, or written for real instuments.....

Walsh, I\'m 1/2 way through the 50min saga that is LadyLatex4, and honestly I think you\'re trying to sell bebop to people still thinking that big band is the end all!

I didnt mean to offend anybody with what I said before...just because someone listens to another style of music thats different from the breakfast doesnt mean that they\'re close minded..I shouldnt have said that in my first post...what I should have said is that In my opinion I that style of music doesnt appeal to me.....thats it...so again Im sorry....
