I was gonna vote for Doughboy, but then I listened to them both all the way through and Escher\'s is the clear winner

Escher\'s is indeed a monster and it has the best lyrics of all their originals.

dyed-in-the-wool  (confirmed for all you lay people out there)
If trees could scream do you think we would be so cavalier to cut them down? Maybe if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

Probably the worst thing about having King Kong run rampant in your town would be the huge, monster genitalia.

I wish I had a kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula and Superman away.

i will transcend the mood also.. love both tunes but i would MUCH rather hear escher\'s at any moment.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

to me Eschers is more of a gimmic tune.....maybe i just dont posses the brainpower to comprehend the greatnesst that this tournament is confirming for it....

Doughboy is an anthem for the band and its fans.....well thats at least how i feel about it....

I personally have lived the last 6 weeks in the words of Doughboy, I hoped everyday was my money day and it has yet to transpire, so I keep the hope alive.

I would love to see Doughboy, if kept in such heavy rotation, expanded into the behemoth of a song it could be; however, Escher\'s is and has been there for a while...Escher\'s takes the pot.

Escher\'s used to be my favorite breakfast tune, but i have not heard a live performace that i was that impressed with since at least some time time in \'03, possibly since right after christmas \'02 at arch st. tavern. doughboy is in my top 3 favorites right now. lets bring down escher\'s!

Although I love EE, Doughboy is one of my favs. I love Jordan\'s voice in it and the Tim-Jordan interplay is outstanding. Boy of dough...it\'s your money day!!!

DB is a great tune, which I love to hear, but whenever I hear EE it touches a chord in my loopy musical brain, so going to stick with what I voted last round and go EE.
