1.) as great as it would be, there\'s not even a remote possibility that they\'ll be playing ampitheatres in just 2 years.

2.) wherever they\'re playing, they better have more than one new fucking original by then!

what the breakfast needs is a "break".  "Breaks" happen when you least expect it.  Therefore I call complete shennanignas on that point.

and i\'m saying they need to "break" into theatres before they "break" into ampitheatres.

I\'m gonna disagree with you Steve.  What "break" did Phish, WSP, SCI get?  With the exception of WSP flirting w/ a radio hit in the 90\'s, seems to me they\'all built their audiences through constant touring and some damn good music.

and another thing, I\'ve been on this board less than an hour today and I\'ve seen you use the word shennanigans twice...  ???  You sound like a high school bus driver.

I was just saying that with a break they could be in amphitheaters in 2 years.....Look at the breakfast timeline and phish timeline....Breakfast 99-05 (almost 6 years) still playing small venues and starting to headline small festies....

They arent too far behind phish who from 83-88 (almost 6 years)  who played a ton of nectars shows, colleges, and stone church.  Actually the Breakfast is farther ahead in the timeline, but that is due to the jamband explosion mainly due to the dead and phish.....

Speaking of breaks, when is a major national act going to recognize the power of the Breakfast and invite them to open shows at large theaters and amphitheaters?
Lobbying for a Kote>Beer Jubilee>Gypsy Girl>Prom 97>Vortex

Uh, I think everyone missed the "Fantasy" part of thre post I was hoping someone would waste some of their time and fill uin the Mid-west leg, then west coast...get it?

What break did SCI get???  Are you ser?  Phish hiatus!!  They tripled their audience within one tour...Trust me SCI Fall \'00 was good but it wasn\'t THAT good.  Now they are back to reality and haven\'t had a non-Holiday sell-out in a while using a larger venue.  They actually had to scale back venue size on their plans, when Phish came back.
